The Continental Studbook recognizes that your privacy is important. Your personal information will never be provided to a third party knowingly or voluntarily except when necessary to execute business promised in our services or when directed by a court. An example of third party business which requires the Continental Studbook to provide your personal information is USEF foal recording. The Continental Studbook does not sell information to third parties and does not market mailing lists.
Some services offered by the Continental Studbook require personal or business information to be displayed. These services are voluntary and require the user to activate them, and the use of these services is an agreement and authorization to make your information public. These services include, but are not limited to, classifieds, sales or wanted listings, gallery entries, farm links, foal announcements, forums, etc.
Our online services are designed to protect breeders' information. Never will identification photos of your horses or owner/breeder information be made available without the privacy key located on the backside of the Certificates of Registration. Breeders should protect this key and not distribute it publically. The key is changed with every issuance of papers, including change of ownership.
The Continental Studbook will never send you an email directing you enter online your personal information, login data or credit card information.
